Does the app work in airplane mode?

Yes — that is the whole point. Open your flight once while you have a connection; the live companion, breathing tools, sound guide, questions and notifications then work offline for the entire flight. A connection is needed only for the map and radar imagery, the aircraft photo and the aircraft's live position; without one, the cockpit screen and flight details keep running on the flight model.

Notifications or the lock-screen card are not showing.

Check three things: Settings → Notifications → SafeSkies is allowed; Settings → SafeSkies → Live Activities is on; and a Focus or Sleep mode may hide them — SafeSkies uses Time-Sensitive notifications, so allow those in your Focus settings. The in-flight screen shows a warning if something is off.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. Settings → your name → Subscriptions → SafeSkies Plus. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues until the period ends.

I purchased but it shows locked.

While online, open SafeSkies → Settings → "Restore purchases". If it persists, email us with your purchase date — we will never ask for your Apple ID password.

What is a Flight Pass?

A one-time purchase that unlocks everything for a single flight (30 hours from purchase). Made for people who fly once or twice a year.

Is the turbulence outlook a safety prediction?

No. It describes how a flight may feel, based on weather forecasts along your route — never how safe it is. Commercial aviation is extraordinarily safe in every condition the app describes.

Are the values on the cockpit screen real?

The cockpit screen is a simplified, representative drawing of the pilots' main display. Altitude, heading and ground speed come from real position data when the aircraft can be tracked live (the screen says "Live"), otherwise from the flight model. The speed tape, pitch, bank and autopilot modes are typical values for that phase of flight; the motion follows the turbulence forecast for that part of the route. It is not a copy of the real cockpit displays and cannot be used for any operational purpose.

What is the Community? Do I need an account?

No. Every flight and calming feature works without an account. The Community is optional: you can read the stories and the leaderboard without signing in. To keep a flight passport or to write something, you sign in with Apple; we ask for neither your name nor your e-mail, and other members only see the nickname you choose. Posting and replying require SafeSkies Plus.

How are my flight hours and my rank calculated?

Flights you track in the app are added to your passport by themselves after they land. You can add older flights by hand: choosing the departure and arrival airports is enough, no flight number needed; the duration is worked out from the distance between them. As hours add up you earn stars and ranks: First Wings, Cloud Hopper (10 hours), Sky Wanderer (50), Wind Master (150), Jetstream Captain (400) and Sky Legend (1000). If you would rather not appear on the leaderboard, you can switch that off in your account settings.

Why didn't my post appear straight away?

Every post, reply and photo passes an AI moderator before it becomes visible; that takes a few seconds. If the moderator is unsure, your post is held for a person to look at — usually settled within a day. The first reply under your post may come from "SafeSkies Assistant"; it always carries an AI badge.

How do I report a post or block someone?

Open the "…" menu at the top right of the post or reply and choose "Report" or "Block member". Everything written by a member you block disappears for you at once. We look at reports within 24 hours; content that breaks the rules is removed and, if needed, the account is closed.

How do I turn off the daily sky note or change its time?

SafeSkies → Settings → Notifications. You can switch the note off there or pick the hour it arrives. It comes once a day, silently. When you switch it off, your push token is deleted from our server.

How do I delete my data?

Your profile, your worries, the flights you track and your notes live only on your phone; deleting the app deletes all of them. If you joined the Community: Community → My passport → account icon (or Settings → Account) → "Delete my account" removes your account, your flight passport, your posts, replies, photos and moderation records from our server immediately and for good. If you can't reach the app, write to us and we will delete it for you.
